Timothy Canty, MD
Prior to completing his Interventional Pain Management fellowship training at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Dr. Canty completed his residency in Anesthesiology at the Massachusetts General Hospital, both at Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Canty was an instructor in Anesthesiology at Harvard Medical School, and an attending physician at Massachusetts General Hospital, where he was honored with the Inaugural Citizenship Award in 2009. In 2016, he founded the Manhattan Restorative Pain Medicine Fellowship program, a one-year training program for doctors learning his advanced pain treatment methods. He currently has hospital and teaching affiliations with Mount Sinai and New York University. Dr. Canty uses the most advanced techniques available to relieve pain. More recently, his efforts have been focused on developing the optimal application of regenerative medicine and stem cell treatments. He also continues to innovate the development of Virtual Reality augmented Ketamine therapy (KVR) for treating pain, depression and PTSD.
