Serge Menkin, MD
Dr. Menkin is fellowship trained in Interventional Pain Medicine and Sports Medicine. He offers cutting-edge, therapies to relieve joint and spinal pain. Dr. Menkin spear-headed the Regenerative Orthopedic Institute at The Center for Joint and Spine Relief. He is well verse in choosing appropriate biologic treatment to address acute sports injuries, as well as chronic arthritic conditions. A personalized approach to patient care helps select the best treatment method to safely achieve maximal improvement. Conditions treated include: joint and spine arthritis, ligament and tendon degenerative tears, disc herniations, nerve compressions, spinal compression fractures, etc. The scope of techniques used includes ultrasound and fluoroscopically guided procedures: joint injections, peripheral nerve blocks, selective nerve root blocks, epidural steroid injections, radiofrequency rhizotomy, discography, endoscopic discectomy, sphenopalatine ganglion block. Regenerative therapy to repair disc disease, torn menisci, tendons and ligaments, with goal to restore function is available to selected candidates.
